FBLA PBL Week is Here!

It is the second week of February, do you know what that means?

IT'S FBLA-PBL WEEK!! [yay!]

Our organization sets aside the second week of Febuary as our official week to promote the success and activities of our chapters. FBLA PBL week
[feb 7- 14] aims to publicize our organization in our community and campus, as well as help recruit members and celebrate the people that make our organization possible.

Did you know that FBLA PBL week coincides with the National Career and Technical Education Month? The momentum of a national event provides the perfect occasion to spotlight the value of membership and of career education.

Chapters all across the nation will be celebrating this week by hosting activities that promote the values of Service Progress and Education that make PBL a great organization. Wednesday for example is Advisor Appreciation day, where we encourage you to say, "thanks" to your advisers for everything that they do. My chapter at Cal State Fullerton has followed the tradition of decorating our adviser's office with PBL reminders, followed with Karaoke lunch with her!

Check out what we did to her office door last year,

Other things that you can do include, getting a booth at your campus to educate others about our organization, partner with a local business for a networking event, prepare a letter to your government representative to raise awareness about career and technical student organizations, engage in a community service project, or host a social and invite other chapters!

So, we encourage you to use this week to celebrate being in this awesome organization, pay tribute to the people that make it possible, promote on your campus and contribute into your career education.

What are you doing this week? Leave us a comment and let us know how you will be celebrating FBLA-PBL week!
