Hey there SBLC attendees,

Just wanted to remind you all that all materials for various presentation and project competitive events must be postmarked tomorrow. To see if an event you are participating in requires materials to be mailed in, go here and find your event: http://www.capbl.org/main.php?page=competitions_program.

The State Business Leadership Conference is just around the corner! If you haven't heard already, the State Business Leadership Conference will be at the Sheraton Pasadena on March 26-27,2010.

DON'T FORGET that early bird registration's final date is tomorrow March 4, 2010. This registration deadline includes emailing the registration form to registration@capbl.org AND making your payment via googlecheckout or check. IMPORTANT SBLC DEADLINE UPDATE!!!

The Skills Events Request Deadline has been pushed back from Monday, February 15th, 2010 to

Tuesday February 23rd, 2010.

The reason why deadlines for Skills Events are much earlier than last year is because the California Awards Program has been revised to match the guidelines of National PBL competitive events. Instead of emailing skill events material, we will be mailing out all material, and are requiring that all chapters mail us back the completed materials. Hopefully this will help you all in preparing for the National Leadership Conference!

Skills events include:

• Computer Applications (Individual)
• Database Design & Applications (Individual)
• Desktop Publishing (Individual or Team)
• Word Processing (Individual)

the Sheraton Hotel in Pasadena, California!!! Woooo!! Old Town Pasadena here we come :)

In addition to staying at the Sheraton Pasadena, California PBL is also extremely excited to be using facilities at the Pasadena Convention Center!
