Google Apps is a "package" of Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. Google first created these products to provide better and cheaper ways to create and share information online. The ability to create and store information is a new market that businesses are strategizing to get into and Google has it's foot in the door.
CHC and CSUF are two local chapters that have adopted Google Apps into their chapter officer teams. Its a great way to keep the chapters looking uniformed with personal "@username.com" emails, the ability to share event info easily, and all this for about $10 if a domain name is needed.

CSUF PBL has been using Google Apps for a little over a month and it has proven to be great tool for our chapter.
Now, all of our officers have uniform and professional email addresses "@csufpbl.org". This gives our chapter more credibility and professionalism.
Our calendar is available for all the officers to refer to and edit on Google calendar. Also, we have began to use Google Docs to share documents easily. I plan to start using Google docs as a storage place for our chapter documents and presentations.
$10 for the domain name is a very affordable price for all the things that Google Apps offers.
